The selling dealer states that bodywork was performed before the car was refinished in black during current ownership, and additional work reportedly included the replacement of the badges and the weatherstripping for the doors and windows. Exterior details include a sculpted hood, LED headlights, a power-retractable antenna, a rear window defogger, a rear spoiler, sport mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. Factory 15″ wheels feature a bright finish with black accents and are mounted with 215/65 Cooper Cobra tires, and corrosion is visible on one of the wheels. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the selling dealer states that the braking system has been replaced with one from a different GM G-body vehicle.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black and Sand Gray cloth, with Turbo 6 embroidery on the front seat headrests. Dynamat sound deadening material is reportedly installed underneath replacement carpeting, and additional appointments include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, and a Sony Bluetooth stereo. The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a horizontal 85-mph speedometer, a digital tachometer, and gauges for boost pressure and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 23k miles, approximately 400 of which have been added under current ownership. The brake warning light remains illuminated.
The turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 was factory rated at 245 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque. Work in 2021 reportedly consisted of servicing the cooling system, performing an oil change, and replacing the air filter, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, and ignition wires.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The differential fluid was reportedly changed in 2021.
